our story

Some dreams take time to bloom — ours took 20 years. In 2005, when my husband was offered the chance to work in the USA, we knew one thing for certain: we would embrace the adventure together. During that chapter of our lives, our private home was built, and on the land where “Das Wagnach” now stands, a simple meadow with a garden was envisioned.

Our journey then led us to Leipzig, Shanghai, and Frankfurt, where we experienced the warmth of true hospitality and heartfelt connections around the world. Slowly, a dream began to grow within me — the wish to return that same warmth to others. In my mind, “Das Wagnach” took shape, replacing the meadow with a welcoming haven. With courage and hope, I shared this vision with my husband.

By the end of 2025, the dream became reality: “Das Wagnach” emerged as a sanctuary of elegance, comfort, and genuine hospitality. Here, every corner is designed to make guests feel at home, every detail reflects care, and every stay is infused with warmth.

After completing my studies, I trained in tourism and worked in travel agencies and at Leipzig Airport — my passion for exploration has always been part of me.
